Grand Reopening, Summer Vibes & Local Love Mondays

We’re full of good news today. Mud season is officially over! That means summer’s rollin’ in and—best of all—we’re back! Yes, that’s right. We’re reopening tupelo’s doors after a little spring break.

Of course, we can’t start a new season without a brand new menu. And our early summer menu is full of tantalizing dishes.

Italy—Brought to You

But first, we’d like to share a story from our mud season adventures. We made the most of the short hiatus to follow our stomachs—all the way to Italy!

Obviously, Italy’s famous for its food and, believe us, it lives up to the hype. When we weren’t knocking back espressos, we were touring the country on a delicious food trail.

Of all the great flavors we found, one stays fresh in our minds: the intense, nutty taste of 12-month aged Parmigiano Reggiano cut fresh from the wheel.

We visited a Parmigiano Reggiano dairy, where we watched the cheese being made. We saw how it forms during cooking. Learned how master cheese makers use salt water to bring out the flavor. And finished up in the maturation room, where great wheels of cheese mature for a full year.

Feeling inspired back in Park City, we’ve added some Italian influences to our menu. Smoked pecorino, tender and light gnudi, roasted porcini mushrooms, or a generous dose of ricotta—Italian cuisine just tastes like summer.

And there’s a lot more to salivate over. We’re channeling trips to the coast and backyard barbeques right now. Whether you prefer the delicately seasoned Sue’s Maine Mussels or opt for the big, bold flavor of Snake River beef sirloin steak, our menu’s bound to get you in the sunshine spirit.

Tequila & Tunes: Local Love Mondays Are Back!

We can’t end mud season without a party, right? So to celebrate, we’re bringing back our ever-popular Local Love Mondays.

If you’ve been before, you know tupelo’s Local Love Mondays is the best way to ease into the work week. And we’ve got a treat in store.

This Monday’s edition of Local Love Mondays (on May 30, Memorial Day) features local blues guitarist, Amanda Johnson, on stage and local tequila producer, Vida Tequila, behind the bar whipping up some spectacular drinks. We’re not talking run-of-the-mill margaritas. Vida Tequila only uses 100% pure highland blue agave tequila, and their team sure knows how to frame it in a glass.

So why not join us? Come kick back, enjoy some fresh flavors, and soak up the summer vibes.
